Fresh Water vs. Raw Water Supply

Although fresh water flushing is highly recommended, raw water can also be used in a VacuFlush® system. If you choose to use raw water, this will increase the maintenance of the sanitation system, and increase the chances of odors in the head compartment.

For a raw water system, Dometic requires a primary filter (coarse) to prevent system clogging from the incoming water, and a secondary 100-mesh filter in the water line. Replace filters every boating season, or when reduced water flow at toilet is noticed.
